As Nawa enters its 20th year, we continue with vision and commitment offering one of the most innovative educational opportunities available to non-traditional learners. The foundation for excellence has been established through hard work and vision. It is through hard work that Nawa Academy maintains its full academic accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and approval to accept international students by the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services. It is through vision that Nawa Academy continues to meet the needs of today's youth through services such as our Learning Center and Equestrian Program. In this website you have discovered that Nawa Academy provides a wide variety of programs. Imagine a school that travels into areas such as South Africa, Argentina, Dominican Republic, and China to conduct academic studies, or one that combines academics with competitive and non-competitive snowboarding. Imagine a school with small classes, creative and exciting teachers, and learning through doing instead of being confined to a classroom filled with more than thirty students. These are dreams that have been realized by our students. Perhaps you are looking for a challenging and adventurous summer school program. At Nawa, you may choose between five adventure filled summer school programs. Each of our programs provide unique opportunities to earn units while enjoying outdoor adventure or an intercultural experience in China.
